If you have a printer, you need a wireless router print server. That’s just plain all there is to it. Sorry to break it to you like that, but it’s the truth.
Consider for a moment, if you will, the size of the average desktop. What is it, maybe five by two feet? Your keyboard is about a foot and a half long, your monitor’s pretty big, you’ve got the PC tower, the mousepad, wireless devices and on and on. Before you know it, there’s no room left for the printer!
So what do you do without a wireless print server? You probably go put the printer on the kitchen table! Uh oh, the cord won’t reach! Okay then, just put the printer on the floor and be done with it! Except the cord is still too short, and now your printer’s just hanging there, helpless, one corner touching the carpet like it’s standing on one foot.
You print something out, it falls on the floor and gets all messed up, and all because you didn’t have a wireless router print server!
So finally you cave, you buy a darn wireless router print server and... what do you know?! You can put the printer wherever you ding dang please! On a nightstand? Fine! The bedroom? Great! In the bathroom? Uh, well, whatever you like, we’re not here to judge anyone.
In short: Get a wireless router for your printer, because you need one! You can get a cheap wireless router for it, just make sure you get one!
