In this wireless router review, we hope to give belkin wireless routers their day in court. Belkin is a popular brand, but everybody knows that popular doesn’t necessarily always mean the same thing as “high quality”. With this wireless router review we hope to see whether or not belkin’s wireless routers live up to the hype.

The N1 Vision router is probably their flagship product these days. It’s not the cheapest one available, and you’ll probably want to go with something slightly lower end, but we’ll use this wireless router review to look at the N1 and see how it works, just to gauge the company itself.

First of all, it really seems designed to be an all-in-one router. It’s capable of handling several PCs or laptops, personal digital devices, and gaming consoles all at once. In fact, it’s probably a bit too much for the average user! For a business owner or a medium sized office though, it’s just enough.

As long as your internet connection is up to speed, you can run about a dozen devices on the router at once with almost no major, noticeable slowdown. Pretty impressive. It’s designed to be easy to set up, which almost seems an odd decision. Easy to set up is typically a feature of at-home routers, since most companies using wireless internet have a Geek In Residence to deal with that stuff for them. Oh well, we’re not knocking it. Small business owners will probably love that feature.

All in all, this wireless router review gives Belkin a pass. They have stumbled into some controversy before, such as directing users to advertisements for their products through the router, which seems silly. Someone with a Belkin router doesn’t need to be told about Belkin routers, right? Oh well, nonetheless, great products from a great brand. Give them a chance.
